My name is Wava Kaufman and I’m Kuna’s representative for ACHD Bicycle Advisory Committee. I’m an avid road and mountain biker. I teach 6th grade at Reed Elementary and coach cross country and track at Kuna Middle School.
The City of Kuna and Ada County have been working together to get bike lanes and safe routes to school to help keep our kids safe. Not only do I bike for fun but also as a coach with our cross country and track teams. It is very important to me that our roadways are safe not only for biking but for running or walking.
Since I can’t be everywhere in Kuna, if you have a question, concerns or ideas for bike paths please email me and I can take your questions, concerns or ideas to our monthly meeting. I will do my best to answer any questions and address all concerns. Just a reminder chip sealing is coming up in June. Watch for maps of where the chip sealing will be taking place.
