[ARCHIVED] City of Kuna celebrates Public Works Week

Public Works Kuna

Public Works Kuna

The City of Kuna invites you, your family and friends to celebrate our public works team with a free community lunch on May 26, 2023. Highlights of the event include free hotdogs, popcorn, and fun water education packets for the kids (until supplies last).

National Public Works week is observed each year during the third full week of May. National Public Works Week is a celebration of the tens of thousands of employees in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as public works. The week seeks to raise the public’s awareness of public works employees who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for present and future generations.

The City of Kuna would like to extend a huge thank you to our staff that takes care of our public works operations! Additionally, we would like to thank our Kuna residents for being mindful of crews doing utility work alongside our roads throughout the year, and for helping to keep our water/sewer systems in good working order.

Public Works employees help keep our community strong and are what makes our community a great place to live and work. So join us in celebrating our Public Works Department employees!

Public Works Week: May 21-27, 2023

Public Works Celebration BBQ: May 26, 2023 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm on the lawn behind City Hall (751 W. 4th Street)
