Project Information
The Kuna Arts Commission is seeking applications from artists for a mural that will be painted on a power box located behind Kuna City Hall on the Green Belt along Indian Creek. Preference is for proposals that consider the seasons of the Green Belt, wildlife, raptors and birds of prey, geographical and historical highlights of the area, and abstract designs, but others will be considered. The budget for the project will be up to $2,000 for a unique and eye-catching design to be painted on the power box. The mural will be installed during the Fall of 2025.
Approved Mural Location
The selected design for this mural will be chosen for a power box located behind Kuna City Hall. Photos of the site location are provided below. The power box measures approximately 51 inches tall and 33 Inches wide. There are four sides and the top of the box that are to be painted.
Anticipated Schedule
Applications Accepted Starting: June 9, 2025
Application Deadline: July 1, 2025
Applicants Notified: August 8, 2025
Work Must be Completed: September 30, 2025
