Sewing Together Community, our upcoming history exhibit at the Kuna Arts & History Center, details the rich history of quilt making and the efforts of quilters to create textiles that were not only functional, but also bastions of creativity and ingenuity. Kuna heritage quilts and fabric working tools from the Kuna Historical Society's collection will be on display to help visitors learn more about this fascinating history. Sewing Together Community is having its opening reception January 23rd, 2026 from 5PM-7PM and will run through April 3rd, 2026.
The Kuna Arts & History Center invites you to Wild Life and Wild Lands, a solo art exhibit by Mary Arnold, a conservation artist whose art seeks to emphasize the connection between humanity and nature. Arnold’s use of color highlights the vitality of wildlife and the environment prompting viewers to engage with the subject matter on an emotional and intellectual level. She imbues her pieces with soul, the animals and landscapes jumping off the canvas for a beautifully immersive experience that prompts viewers to think more critically about conservation. Wild Life and Wild Lands is having its opening reception January 23rd, 2026 from 5PM-7PM at the Kuna Arts and History Center with snacks and drinks available for visitors. The show will run from January 23, 2026 through April 3, 2026!

Work will begin next week on Hubbard Road as part of ACHD's 2025 Arterial and Collector Capital Maintenance project.
Beginning Monday, Hubbard Road will be closed between Ten Mile and Meridian Roads, and the closure is expected to remain in place through the summer of 2026.
Next year, the intersection of Hubbard and Linder Road will also be closed as part of this work.
Commuters should use Columbia Road to the north, or Deer Flat Road to the south, to get around the closure during construction (see detour map).
The work is part of ACHD’s 2025 Arterial & Collector Capital Maintenance Project and includes a full reconstruction of the roadway. When complete, the corridor will feature upgraded pedestrian ramps, new sidewalks, and improved curb and gutter at key intersections, along with other enhancements.
